MADE BY WOODSMOKE connects the creative disciplines your business needs into one coherent whole.
I trained as an architect and was honoured with the RIBA Presidents Medals Serjeant Award before establishing my business in 2017. That architectural foundation continues to shape my work today. As architects consider every facet of a building, I apply the same holistic design thinking to my clients’ marketing—clarifying complex ideas into clear, meaningful outcomes.

BEHIND THE NAME
Every MADE BY WOODSMOKE project is driven by a single aim—to help the audience feel something. This emotional connection matters—when people experience feelings such as excitement, belonging, or hope, they’re more likely to trust you, absorb your message, and want to return.
“Woodsmoke” is a word chosen for its ability to spark memory and transport you instantly. For me, it conjures up walks through the cottages of the Blickling Estate on the first crisp, sunny autumn morning, or a friend’s wedding in the Cotswolds, gathered around a fire pit at sunset.
I’ve always been drawn to finding something special in my projects—something that lifts them and gives them a depth and character you can’t quite name, but you feel. MADE BY WOODSMOKE is named to capture that spirit.
EMOTION AND STORY FIRST, ADVERTISING SECOND
This guiding principle shapes how we’ll work together.
Over the last eight years, I’ve seen many briefs emphasise what a business wants to say. I prefer to balance that with what the audience will gain—so the finished work enriches their lives and creates value that lasts.
Together, we’ll put the audience first and give them compelling reasons to engage.
