Video production in Norfolk for businesses, charities and organisations.
Whether it’s cinematic brand storytelling, run-and-gun social media content, or comprehensive event coverage, MADE BY WOODSMOKE has the expertise, problem solving and creativity to make videos that are created with the client and audience in mind.
MBW provides a complete end-to-end video production process, from pre-production and storyboarding through to shooting, editing and post-production.

Video production that helps people understand what you do
A good video should help people understand what you do, why it matters, and why they should choose you.
That might mean showing the work itself, explaining a service that is difficult to describe, introducing the people behind the organisation, or giving potential customers a stronger sense of what it would be like to work with you or buy from you.
But more than this, a good video should spark someone’s imagination and bring them along for the journey. It should tell them a story, give them a fresh perspective and help them feel part of your world.
I work with Norfolk businesses, charities and organisations who would like their videos to feel considered, authentic and meaningful — but not generic, gimmicky or needlessly overproduced.

Video production across Norfolk
With a post-production studio located in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, MADE BY WOODSMOKE works across the county, covering Norwich, the North Norfolk coast, the Broads and the rural market towns in between.
Being local makes the process easier. I can visit you, understand the setting, work around real locations and build the video around the people, stories and places that make your business special.
I can help you create:
- Website films
- Brand films
- Case study videos
- Promotional videos
- Event films
- Social media content, social ads, short-form edits and reels
I’ve worked with brands from sole traders and local charities up to national brands such as Lotus Cars, Mind and the NHS. Some projects require a full production process. Others might be more run-and-gun, capturing events as they unfold in real time.

How the process works
1. Start with what the video needs to do
Before planning shots, scripts or locations, we look at the purpose of the film. Who needs to watch it? Where will it live? What should someone understand after seeing it? Do you need one film, several edits, or reels as well?
2. Shape the idea
This might include interview questions, a loose structure, shot planning, locations, timings and the identifying versions you will actually use.
3. Film with care and craft
The shoot is planned properly, but kept natural. The aim is to capture people, places, work and details in a way that feels authentic and honest.
4. Edit for clarity and purpose
The edit brings the story together. We focus on pace, structure, sound and image — bringing everything back to the finished video having a clear job to do.
5. Prepare the final assets
You can receive a main film, shorter social edits, vertical reels or a mix, depending on what you need.

A good fit for your project
My videos are a good fit for you if:
- You want a visual way to show what you do
- You need videos for a website, campaign or event
- You want social media content and reels, either as a one-off or on an ongoing basis
- You have a service, process or place that would benefit from being seen and better understood by your ideal customers
- You want films that feel natural and authentic, rather than overly scripted

Questions about video production in Norfolk
How much does video production cost in Norfolk?
Video production costs depend on what the video needs to do, how much planning is involved, how many filming days are needed and how many final edits you require.
As a rough guide, a small run-and-gun event or social media shoot may start from a few hundred pounds, while a more developed brand film, campaign video or advert will usually require a larger production budget.
The best starting point is to talk through what you need the video to achieve, then we can shape the production process around that.
Do you work outside Norwich?
Yes. I work across Norfolk, including Norwich, North Norfolk, the coast, the Broads, market towns and rural locations.
Can you help with the idea, or do we need a script?
You do not need to arrive with a finished script.
In many cases, we help shape the idea, structure the film, prepare interview questions, plan the shoot and work out what needs to be captured.
Can you create shorter edits and reels for social media?
Yes. A single shoot can often produce a main video plus shorter edits, reels and social cutdowns.
If you want social content on a more regular basis, we can plan that as part of the project rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Do you work with charities as well as businesses?
Yes. I have previously worked with St Martin’s Housing, Survivors in Transition and the Ipswich Housing Action Group.
The process is the same: understand what the video needs to do, then make something that fits the brief, the audience and the setting.
